Privacy Policy

The Credit Union strives to maintain the strictest confidentiality when it comes to dealing with members' personal information. However, we do, from time to time, share that information outside of the Credit Union. Because of this, we have developed a policy concerning personal information.

The Roanoke Virginia Firemen Federal Credit Union collects non-public information about you, the member, from the following sources:

  • Information on applications and forms, in writing, via the Internet and over the telephone, from you, the member.
  • Informations from transactions with your Credit Union
  • Insurance from an outside consumer reporting agency or credit bureau.
We will only disclose non-public, personal information about our members to affiliates or third parties as required by law. We allow access to non-public information about our members to only those emloyees who need to know that information in order to provide services to you and in connection with the performance of their duties.

We also maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your non-public, personal information.
